Robbo wants Spurs place

Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has said that he is determined to keep his place under new Spurs boss Juande Ramos. The England international is reportedly going to be replaced by the new boss.

The England keeper is aware of talk that he could be replaced in January, but says: "We will see what happens and whether he makes any signings, but I am confident I am No.1 at this club and that it will stay that way.



"It's very pleasing for me to get a first win (against Blackpool) for a few weeks and a clean sheet as well.

"It came on my 150th appearance for the club so it was a good night all round. I feel totally fit now after my calf problem. I'm just delighted to be back.

"I have barely missed a league game over the last three years and the physio had to hold me back.

"He told me if I returned too soon I could make it even worse, but it has been frustrating in the treatment room."
