Fulham make offer for Lee Cattermole

Fulham have made an offer for Sunderland defensive midfielder Lee Cattermole. The 25-year-old has found himself surplus to requirements under Paolo Di Canio and is hoping to make a transfer switch to another Premier League side.

The 5 foot 10 midfielder arrived at Sunderland in 2009 and initially would be a first team regular in the side, but last year Cattermole only played in 10 games in the Premier League. Fulham have offered the midfielder the promise of regular first team football and the player will fly to London for talks this week.


Fulham have had an offer of £2.5 million accepted for the former England under-21 international.
