Blackburn consider move for Wolves midfielder Davis
Championship side Blackburn Rovers are considering a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster David Davis according to Sky Sports.
The 22 year old joined Wolves' youth team from Twidale in 2008 before signing a professional contract a year later. However, Davis was regularly shipped out of the club on loan but featured regularly at the Molineaux last season.
Blackburn were also interested in Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan but the deal fell through because the club could not agree personal terms with the player.
Now, Rovers have turned their attention to the young David after having monitored him for well over a season.
Rovers' boss Gary Bowyer is keen to bring in a few new players before the new Championship season kicks off later this weekend.
