Arsenal's Marouane Chamakh set to have a medical at Crystal Palace?
Arsenal's flop striker Marouane Chamakh is reportedly edging closer to a permanent switch to Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace. The newly-promoted Premier League outfit had recently admitted of their interest in the Moroccan International, who has fallen down the pecking order in the Gunners squad.
Reports in England suggest that the 29-year-old Moroccan forward is set to have a medical with the Eagles on Friday ahead of a permanent move to the club, according to the Croydon Guardian.
Earlier, reports had suggested that the transfer agreement was to be done on a loan basis, but it has now been assured that Crystal Palace will sign the striker on a permanent deal.
Marouane has notched up 14 goals in his 67 appearances for the Gunners.
