Liverpool monitoring Dutch starlet Richairo Zivkovic

Liverpool are currently monitoring the progress of highly rated FC Groningen starlet Richairo Zivkovic, according to the Eredivisie club's Executive Director Hans Nijland.

Zivkovic has caught the attentions of several top clubs across Europe since making his debut for FC Groningen last season as a 16-year-old.

Hans Nijland has insisted that the young forward has attracted interest from a host of top clubs, with the Reds considered the first to show concrete desire on the player.

He said: "All the top clubs in Holland want him but Liverpool are here every week too.

"They are watching him closely and very keen."
