Man City after Pandev
Man City after Pandev
Sven-Goran Eriksson is lining up an £14m swoop for Goran Pandev, the Macedonian striker who is currently playing for Lazio. Pandev is still stalling on a contract up until the 2011/2012 season but according to sources has not yet signed.
Bayern Munich had been linked with a swoop for the striker after their chief scout Paul Breitner said: "We want Goran Pandev. We've come to Italy three times already this season to watch him and will be back for the derby on October 31."
However, a move failed to materialise and Man City are ready to snap up the striker. Lazio are known to be eager to hang on to their prized asset, and are likely to rebuff any early bids from Man City.
