FIFPro warns all players from joining Greek, Cypriot and Turkish clubs

FIFPro, the world's largest football players union, has warned all players from joining the Turkish, Cypriot and Greek leagues, for fear that clubs in those countries might fail to honour their contractual obligations towards their players.

The association stated that since those countries don't contribute to European competitions like other member countries of UEFA, they are more likely to break contractual obligations.

It also stated that a vast majority of conflicts put forward by players come from the Cypriot league, and have reached the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber.

In second and third places are Turkey and Greece, with the number of disputes increasing every year. This is due to the financial crisis.
