Former Arsenal striker Gervinho supporting Napoli
AS Roma forward Gervinho has expressed that he would be supporting Serie A side Napoli when they take on his former club Arsenal in the Champions League group stage fixture on Tuesday night.
The Ivorian International was quoted by an unnamed radio channel saying: “I had lot of affinity with Wenger but more with (Rudi) Garcia (his coach at Lille before his Arsenal switch). I wish good luck to Napoli against Arsenal, I hope Italians progress in the Champions League.”
Gervinho has had a perfect start to his Roma career having scored 4 goals in 7 games for the club.
