Arsenal target Maxime Gonalons could be set for a switch to Serie A outfit Napoli following Lyon's poor start to the season.

The Gunners were associated with a move for the Lyon midfielder during the summer, but failed to materialise anything from the speculation.


Following Lyon's poor start to the French Ligue 1, with the club currently placed in 14th place, Gonalon's future has once again become the subject of speculation.

The player's agent Frederix Guerra has insisted that his client may eventually sign for the Italian giants Napoli, with manager Rafael Benitez keen on acquiring the player's services.
