Ogenyi Onazi eyes Liverpool transfer

Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has opened the door on a potential transfer to Liverpool, after admitting that he would be honoured to play for the Premier League club.

Everton and Fiorentina were amongst the teams interested in the 20-year-old Nigerian's signature, but it appears that Liverpool are the favourites to secure his signing.


"I would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League," said Onezi.


"Liverpool? They are a huge team and are attractive to any footballer. I could see myself playing for them."
