Wigan Athletic interested in loan move for Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford

Championship outfit Wigan Athletic will reportedly make a January loan offer to sign Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford.

The 20-year-old striker who has been in excellent form on loan at MK Dons this season, will likely be recalled by Chelsea, as they are keen to move the player up a division into the Championship, as per SportsDirect News.


The deal to sign the talented forward is said to have stalled following Owen Coyle's sacking, and will now be upto new manager Uwe Rosler to sanction it.


Bamford, who won the October's player of the Month award, has amassed 12 goals in 19 appearances for the Dons in the League One.
