Roger Johnson joins West Ham United on loan
Roger Johnson has apparently joined Premier League strugglers West Ham United on loan for the rest of the season, according to reports.
Jack Sullivan, who happens to be the son of West Ham co-owner David Sullivan, has claimed that the Wolves centre-half has joined the club on loan for the season, in order to provide sufficient back-up to the defensive department.
Reports earlier suggested that the Hammers were closing in on the services of the 30-year-old, as they look to overcome their recent slump in form.
However, with no official confirmation over the transfer, Jack has assured the West Ham faithful that the defender has signed up on a temporary deal at Upton Park for the rest of the campaign.
"ROGER JOHNSON has signed till the end of the season, as emergency cover at CB," he tweeted. "He might surprise a few people. More news soon."
West Ham are currently placed 19th in the Premier League table.
