Liverpool in race with PSG for Yevhen Konoplyanka

Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle it out for the services of Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka in the summer.

The Daily Mail reports that the French champions have joined Liverpool in the chase for the player's signature.

 

The Reds failed to sign up the talented 24-year-old during the transfer deadline day in January, and are now expected to face a stiff task to secure his services with PSG readying a summer offer for the player.

It is understood that Konoplyanka's agent has held talks with Les Parisiens over the possible transfer to Parc des Princes.

 

Konoplyanka has been in fine form for Dnipro and notched eight goals in 14 games for the club, with some of his best outings coming in the Europa League.
