Ghaly's Premiership move?
Tottenham's Egyptian midfield misfit Hossam Ghaly has insisted that rival Premiership clubs have been interested in his services. Sunderland and Derby have been linked with the midfielder who almost joined Birmingham in the summer.
"They made approaches but no concrete offer has been tabled. Things will become clear next month as the transfer window is looming," he said.
The Egypt international says he has no regrets throwing his shirt to the ground after being substituted in Tottenham's match against Blackburn back in May.
"It was a normal reaction, given what Tottenham did against me," Ghaly told Egyptian TV. "Tottenham didn't allow me play 30 matches to receive the bonus which included in my contract. Furthermore, they didn't fulfill their promise of extending my contract."
