QPR make formal offer for Jordan Mutch

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly made a bid of £5m for the services of Cardiff City midfielder Jordan Mutch, The Mirror reports.

The 22-year-old was one of the stand-out performers for the Bluebirds last season, in spite of the club dropping down to the Championship in the first coming.

The Bluebirds have shown intent to get back to the English top tier in a seasons' time, by rejecting an offer for the talented midfielder from Sunderland earlier this summer.

However, The Mirror now claims that South Wales outfit may find it hard to keep hold of their prized asset, with the Hoops coming in with an offer for the former England Under-21 international.

Mutch scored seven goals for the Bluebirds in the Premier League last season.
