Spurs sign Federico Fazio

Tottenham Hotspur have successfully completed the signing of Sevilla defender Federico Fazio on a four-year deal.

Reports earlier had revealed that the Argentine centre-back was close to sealing a long-term deal at White Hart Lane, following an agreement over an £8m transfer fee between both clubs.

Spurs have announced the signing of the talented centre-back after Michael Dawson departed the club for Hull City earlier in the day.

Fazio could make his debut for Spurs when they host Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
