Sami Khedira set to sign for Arsenal?

Real Madrid midfield sensation could be on his way to the Gunners during the winter transfer window, according to The Mirror.

The German international has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League over the summer, with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea interested in his services.

However, it is understood that the World Cup winner favours a move to the Emirates and is now ready to lower his wage demands to £80,000-a-week in order to get through a deal in the New Year.

Khedira's existing contract at Los Blancos expires at the end of the season.
