Chelsea join pursuit for Cruzeiro sensation

Chelsea have joined the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to acquire the services of Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva, according to a report.

The Brazilian made him debut for the club in 2012, and has since then shown progress with every season gone by.

Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in the player's services, but it is believed that Real Madrid head the queue for the talented youngster.

However, Corriere dello Sport claims that Premier League leaders Chelsea have joined the chase for the 21-year-old.

Silva is currently valued at around £6m.
