Arsenal and Man Utd target considering Villa exit

Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar will consider a move to a big club in the near future, according to his agent.

The Netherlands international whose contract at Villa Park expires in the summer, has been strongly associated with a January switch away from the club, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United speculated to be interested in his services.

According to The Mirror, agent Arnold Oosterveer has revealed that his client would consider a move to a 'big club' should the chance come by.

"It is obvious that for Ron, now is the moment to make a nice big move in his career. Ron is very ambitious," He said. "The situation is ideal for Ron right now. You can imagine that we are not in a hurry.

"I don't want to react to the rumour that he will move to either Arsenal or Man United, but Ron is very ambitious."
