Lassana Diarra hopeful of West Ham United switch

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra is hopeful of securing a move to West Ham United in the near future.
The talented Frenchman was training at the Hammers ahead of a deal last week, but FIFA blocked his proposed transfer due to a contract dispute with his former club Lokomotiv Moscow.
Diarra has now revealed that he is eager to ply his trade for the East London outfit once he resolves his contract status.
"As long as the conflict is not sorted, FIFA forbid me to play so it's so frustrating. What happened was that I got fired from a club and now I cannot play football. It's a crazy thing because I'm free." He said.
"Hopefully it can all be resolved and the deal with West Ham can be completed."
