Spurs nab Chris Gunter

Tottenham are set to sign Cardiff City starlet Chris Gunter in January according to the Spurs' official website. Gunter is a Welsh youth international who has performed admirably this year and has now secured a Premiership move.

Gunter, 18, has impressed viewers, especially those watching the youngster play on an international level, putting in two very effective shifts against Ireland and Germany and helping his home country of Wales to two draws in those matches. It is clear from watching him that he is a prospect for the future.

It is thought that Spurs and Cardiff have agreed on a fee of around £3.5 million for the Welshman and will move to Tottenham in the January transfer window.
