Manchester City are reportedly ready to match Wolfsburg's asking price for midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian international has been in top form for the Wolves since his summer switch from Chelsea.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen on having the former Chelsea star aboard this summer, and is ready to do his utmost to land his services.
The Mail reports that City will have to pay at least £40m if they want to capture the midfielder's signature.
De Bruyne has notched up 14 goals and 25 assists for his club this season.
