West Brom miss out on Demba Ba

Senegalese striker Demba Ba will make a move to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua. West Brom have missed out on a deal despite agreeing a fee for the player.

It is understood that Ba had agreed terms with Shanghai Shenhua within a day and that the Chinese club trumped WBA to beat the Premier League team after offering almost double salary. Ba will leave Besiktas for China next week and is understood to be undertaking a medical this afternoon.
