Arsenal in talks to sign Eduardo Vargas

Arsenal are in crunch talks with Napoli over a possible summer deal for striker Eduardo Vargas.

The Chilean international was disappointing during his loan spell with Queens Park Rangers last season.

However, he has been in exemplary form for his national side in the Copa America, where he has notched up four goals in five games on the road to the finals.

Mediaset claims that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by the striker's show in national colors and could make a £11.3m swoop for the player's services this summer.

Vargas is all set to feature for Chile against Argentina in the Copa America final on Saturday.
