Spurs for Emanuelson

Ajax defender Urby Emanuelson is reportedly interested in joining Tottenham. The Dutch left-back is seen as one of the best young defenders in Europe, and Arsenal were interested in signing him during the summer.

"Urby is very keen to join Tottenham. We've told Spurs to discuss the transfer again with Ajax," Berkleef told the Sunday Mirror.

"The player wants to go. We know Spurs want him but Ajax are involved in the battle for the Dutch title and they want to get back into the Champions League.

"It will be a hard battle, but the player knows where he wants to go."
