Man City close in on Fabian Delph

Aston Villa midfielder is on the verge of sealing a summer switch to Manchester City, The Mail reports.

The England international has been heavily tipped to join the Citizens, following an impressive season with the West Midlands outfit.

According to The Mail, the Villa skipper will complete his £8m move to the Citizens within the next 24 hours, having agreed personal terms with the Etihad outfit.

Delph has made over 100 appearances for Villa since his move from Leeds United in 2009.
