Liverpool allow Raheem Sterling sale
Liverpool have reached an agreement with Manchester City over the sale of star winger Raheem Sterling.
The England international has been tipped to make his move to the Etihad, following his refusal to go on the Reds' pre-season tour to the Far East.
City had earlier had two bids of £35m and £40m rejected by the Reds for the player's services.
However, BBC Sport now claims that the 20-year-old will join the former Premier League champions in the summer, having seen both clubs agree on a £49m transfer fee.
The deal is likely to earn Sterling's former side Queens Park Rangers £9m thanks to a 20-percent sell-on clause on the player's contract.
