Liverpool in race for Moussa Sissoko?

Liverpool will look to battle it out with Tottenham Hotspur for the services of Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to reports.

The France international still has four years left on his existing deal at the Tyneside outfit, but it is thought that he is keen on joining a top club challenging for Champions League qualification next season.

According to Mercato Foot, Liverpool could follow Spurs into making a formal bid for the talented playmaker.

Newcastle United currently value Sissoko at £16m.
