Aston Villa agree Jose Angel Crespo deal

Spanish side Cordoba have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the sale of defender Jose Angel Crespo.

The 28-year-old joined the minnow outfit on a season-long loan from Bologna last summer, before making the move a permanent one in the turn of the year.

"Cordoba and Aston Villa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jose Angel Crespo to the English team," Cordoba revealed via their official Twitter account.

"The defender, after an agreement in principle between the clubs, travels to England today to undergo a medical before signing."
