Gokhan Inler to sign for Leicester City

Swiss international midfielder Gokhan Inler will wrap up a transfer to Leicester City this week, after the Foxes agreed a fee for the player in the region of 5.5 million euros. Inler will move to Leicester from Napoli.

Leicester City have been busy scouring Europe to find a replacement for Esteban Cambiasso, who left the Foxes at the end of last season.

Inler, who has once been linked with transfers to Arsenal and to Manchester United, is aged 31 and has decided that he would like a move to England for at least a couple of years.

Inler also played for Udinese and spent some time in his homeland prior to moving to Italy.
