Valencia want Denis Cheryshev

Valencia have become the latest club to be interested in a summer move for Real Madrid forward Denis Cheryshev.

The Russian international had a great spell on loan with Villareal last season, and this has attracted interest from several European clubs this summer.

Cheryshev did not play a part in Real Madrid's goalless draw against Sporting Gijon in the La Liga opener this weekend, giving a clear indication that he may have to seek a fresh challenge away from the Bernabeu.

According to Cadena Cope, Los Che are preparing a formal bid for the 24-year-old before the transfer window slams shut.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the player's services.
