Chelsea consider Bamford recall
Chelsea are looking at the prospect of recalling on-loan striker Patrick Bamford from Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old joined the Eagles on season-long loan in the summer, with Blues boss Jose Mourinho keen on providing regular first-team football to his young striker.
However, Bamford has failed to make the cut at Selhurst Park, and has featured for just 16 minutes from the substitutes' bench in the Premier League.
London Evening Standard now reports that the Blues had inserted a clause which would allow them to recall their talented marksman in the winter transfer window.
The Blues are also monitoring midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah who has suffered a similar situation at Serie A side Napoli.
