Chelsea target eyeing Marseille exit

Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou is reportedly considering his options ahead of the winter transfer window.

The Cameroon international showed his commitment to the Ligue 1 side last summer after a number of first-team players opted to make way from Stade Velodrome.

However, Marseille have failed to offer a new contract extension to the 25-year-old whose existing deal is up at the end of the season.

According to French outlet France Football, the talented stopper is seriously considering an exit from Ligue 1 in the New Year.

It is added that the player may well seek a move to the Premier League having previously been linked with Chelsea.

N'Koulou has made 139 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille following his switch from AS Monaco in 2011.
