Branislav Ivanovic to extend Chelsea stay?

Serbian international Branislav Ivanovic could earn a new deal at Chelsea in spite of his early season troubles.

The 31-year-old has had a rough time on the field, and this has led to talks that he may seek an exit from Stamford Bridge at the expiry of his contract next summer.

However, agent Zoran Krneta cites that his client is likely to be offered a contract extension as he remains a key player at the West London giants.

"Most probably he will renew his deal with Chelsea." he told reporters.

Ivanovic joined the Blues from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008.
