Chelsea agree Alex Teixeira deal

Chelsea have sealed a winter deal for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Alex Teixeira, reports reveal.

The 25-year-old had earlier revealed that he was in talks with the Premier League holders over a possible switch in the winter transfer window.

According to The Star, the Blues have verbally agreed a £30m fee for the talented playmaker, who has also attracted interest from the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.

The report adds that the former Vasco da Gama star will be allowed to discuss personal terms with the West London giants in the coming days.

Teixeira has scored 26 goals in as many games for Shakhtar this season.
