Maduro could move in Jan

Hedwiges Maduro has admitted there is still a chance he could leave Ajax in January. Maduro has been linked with a move to Valencia - among other clubs - and Tottenham are also considering a £6 million offer for the Dutchman.

“I won’t stay in the Netherlands and I won’t play for one of the Ajax competitors. I don’t really mind where I’ll go, even though I’d prefer Spain or Italy,” Maduro said.

“I need to make a decision in the coming days. I want to play for a club which has faith in me one hundred percent and I don’t feel like that here. It’s a shame that the feeling I had back in December proved correct. This is my best season to date. I have never performed so consistently and so good before. That’s why it’s really a shame that things have gone this way.”
