Newcastle United plan Alan Dragoev bid

Newcastle United are reportedly lining up a £10m bid for CSKA Moscow star Alan Dragoev.

The Russian international had been previously linked with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal in 2012.

According to The Mirror, Magpies boss Steve McClaren is eager to bring in Dragoev to St,James Park in a desperate bid to keep the club aloft in the Premier League next season.

Adding to this, Dragoev's creativity could add the much needed spark to the club's attack in the second half of the campaign.

Dragoev has earned over 45 caps with his national side.
