Barcelona not interested in Ozil

Barcelona are not in the running to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil in the summer.

It had been recently speculated that the German international could be on his way to Barcelona after he refused to agree terms over a fresh contract at the Emirates.

However, Spanish source Mundo Deportivo claims that the Catalan giants are not keen on a summer deal for the World Cup winner, who has previously plyed his trade with fierce rivals Real Madrid.

Ozil notched his 17th assist of the Premier League season as the Gunners trumped Leicester City by a 2-1 scoreline on Sunday afternoon.
