Arsenal line up Aarons move

Arsenal are reported to be eyeing a summer swoop for Newcastle United midfielder Rolando Aarons.

The 21-year-old is expected to be available on a free transfer this summer as he is yet to pen an extension at St.James Park.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners have joined the Italian pairing of AC Milan and Juventus in the pursuit of the highly-rated youngster.

Despite impressing in the Magpies academy, Aarons has struggled to cement a regular role under Steve McClaren this term.

The pacey midfielder has made just seven league appearances for Newcastle United this season.
