West Ham agree permanent Lanzini deal
West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has confirmed that the club have reached an agreement to sign Manuel Lanzini on a permanent basis.
The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on a season-long loan from Al Jazira with an option of turning the deal into a permanent one before the start of April.
Since then, Lanzini has put up a good showing with the first-team and this has led to suggestions that the East London side could activate his buy-out clause.
Sullivan has now confirmed that the young attacker will ply his trade beyond the summer after they sealed a long-term contract for his services.
"I know it's worth about €12m (£9.4m). And you can hardly get a player for that! We've just signed Lanzini on a permanent deal for that sort of money." he told The Mail.
Lanzini has netted six goals in all competitions for the Hammers this term.
