Leicester hot on trail of Lapadula

English champions Leicester City are among the leading clubs vying for the services of Pescara forward Gianluca Lapadula. The 26-year-old has been tipped to leave the Serie B outfit irrespective of which division they are in next season.

Lapadula, 26, has been in the papers of late with Serie A holders Juventus seemingly keen on his signature.

However, according to The Mirror, the Old Lady may not have an easy path to the player with the Foxes ready to table an offer of their own.

Claudio Ranieri's side could hold an advantage in the player's chase, given the vast competition for places at Italian giants Juventus.

The talented attacker has netted 22 league goals for Pescara since his free transfer from Parma last summer.
