The England international is likely to step up for a fresh challenge following a decade-long career with the Mancunian giants.

The likes of Everton and Arsenal have been recently linked with the versatile midfielder, but according to FourFourTwo, Perth Glory could come up with an audacious offer for the experienced campaigner.

Carrick, 34, is eager to remain in English top flight even if he fails to earn a contract extension at Old Trafford.
