Leicester City wrap up deal for Bartosz Kapustka
Leicester City are to announce the seventh signing of the transfer window after agreeing a deal for Poland international midfielder Bartosz Kapustka. The Cracovia star will move in a 7.5 million GBP transfer deal to the Premier League champions.
The starlet told Polish press: "I’m not going there just for fun. It is for the name of the club who last season won the championship of England. Of all the offers tabled, Leicester wanted me the most. Ranieri's interest was a big factor for me."
Ajax and Everton were amongst the teams in the race to sign the 19-year-old midfielder and the Foxes will be delighted to have signed on of Europe's most highly rated youngsters.
The central midfielder has spent his entire career with Cracovia and it is rumoured that some believe the signing of Kapustka indicates that star player Riyad Mahrez is to leave Leicester City this summer.
