Ronaldinho return near

Brazilian star Ronaldinho is reportedly close to returning from injury for Barcelona. The player has been out of action with a knee problem, but is almost ready to make a comeback.

Ronaldinho has been sidelined for the last four weeks with tendinitis in his left knee, but Barca believe the Brazil international could return to full training with his team-mates next week.

"He is completing the final phase of his recuperation," read a club statement.

"The discomfort in the tendon in the left knee has disappeared and, therefore, at the start of next week he will be medically discharged."
