Tiago deal to Spurs over

Former Chelsea midfielder Tiago's move from Juventus to Tottenham appears to be over as Juande Ramos has turned his attentions to other players. Tiago has now been linked with a host of other Premiership sides.

Tiago has never been in favour at Juventus or comfortable playing in Serie A, but always looked very useful during his time at Lyon.

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri admitted that he was flabbergasted that Tiago had never performed that well in Serie A, but it seems the Portuguese midfielder could be ready for a Premiership adventure - just elsewhere - after the move to Tottenham fell through.

With just under a week left in the football transfer window, the destination of Tiago is still a mystery.
