FFF apologise for Domenech

French international coach Raymond Domenech has been warned over recent comments about complaining that the Italy vs. France Olympics 2000 game was rigged by Italian officials.

Italian international Ivan Gattuso has complained, "I was in Taranto at the time and I want to tell the French Coach that he missed his chance to remain silent."

French Football Federation's chairman has apologised to Italian officials on behalf of Domenech's comments.

UEFA president Michel Platini has also criticised Domenech by commenting, "If Domenech does not submit evidence supporting what he has said he will be punished,"
