Man Utd target Rodrigo Caio
Manchester United are prepared to rival a whole host of clubs for the services of Sao Paulo star Rodrigo Caio. The 23-year-old came close to joining Valencia over the summer before he failed a series of medical tests.
Caio, 23, was a key player for the Brazilian side who were crowned the gold medalists at the Olympic games.
According to The Star, the Red Devils will look to fight off interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla and AC Milan as they look to bring the promising player to Old Trafford.
Caio is mainly a central defender who can also operate in the holding midfield role. He has previously plyed his trade at right-back where he earned plaudits for holding down former Santos graduate Neymar.
The centre-half earned his maiden cap for Brazil during a 2-0 friendly win over Panama earlier this year. He is currently rated at around £12m.
