Juventus keeping tabs on Liverpool midfielder
Serie A holders Juventus are monitoring the situation of midfielder Emre Can, whose Liverpool deal is due to expire in 15 months' time. The German international has been in a contract standoff with the Reds since the turn of the year.
The 24-year-old is said to demand at least a 200 percent increase on his current £35,000-a-week wages, and this is something that the Reds are not willing to match.
According to The Liverpool Echo, Can is attracting interest from a whole host of clubs with Juventus in particular keen on securing his signature in the summer.
Can has not been a fan favourite at Anfield this season, but Klopp is still keen to commit his compatriot to a long-term contract as he bids to strengthen his side ahead of a possible title challenge next season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man has appeared in 21 league outings for Liverpool this season, six of them coming from the substitutes' bench.
