Fernandes close to comeback

Manuel Fernandes is close to a move back to Everton after the Toffees reportedly agreed a fee with his club, Benfica. The fee suggested could be as much as 15m EUR.

Fernandes was very impressive last season and Man Utd were considering a move for the Portuguese international.

Everton are expected to buy one half of the players contract, with several other third parties acquiring the other half.
