Napoli set hefty asking price on long-term Premier League target
Serie A heavyweights Napoli have reportedly placed a hefty £105m price tag on the head of Kalidou Koulibaly amid interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Senegal international has established himself as one of the most consistent centre-backs in the Serie A and he has of late attracted interest from the Gunners.
A recent report suggested that the north London club could lodge a £53m bid for the central defender but according to Rai Sport, the Gunners may have to at least double their bid.
This is likely to sway away any ongoing interest in the central defender, who still has more than three years left on his deal which was extended in 2016.
Koulibaly, who is also on the radar of Manchester United and Real Madrid, has managed over 160 appearances for Napoli during his four seasons in the Italian league.
